MEMORANDUM OF DECISION AND ORDER ZOBEL, District Judge. Plaintiff Eric Sarsfield ("Sarsfield") was convicted of rape in July 1987 and served close to ten years in prison. He was exonerated based on DNA evidence in August 2000.
