Alex is an awesome lawyer. He handled our case in a very timely manner. The results were better than expected and I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Alex in person because it wasn't required due to Alex being able to handle everything by phone and email. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of legal assistance in his areas of expertise. Now that this whole matter is closed I kind of feel like I lost a friend. Very kind, considerate, professional.
I came to Dell & Schaefer utterly defeated by my private disability insurance carrier. I was devastated that they were denying all responsibility in my long term benefits despite having paid into their horrible program for almost 20years. When I talked with Alex, all of a sudden I had hope of not only closure but of compassion for my situation. He explained everything to me. Held my hand when I needed hand holding and he and his assistants provided me with information anytime I asked. Should I ever need assistance again I would not hesitate to contact Alex or recommend him. This law firm and Alex was definitely a beacon in what has continued to be a horrible time in my life.
I would not hesitate to refer the office of Dell&Schaefer and especially Alex Palamara. They are compassionate, on top of your case and thoroughly explain everything that is happening and why. They definitely earn their fees and do not "nickel and dime" every time you ask a question. They are personable and everyone from the attorneys to the support staff all up and down the "line" are all the same. Everyone I dealt with were all equally professional and compassionate and that is not an easy balancing act.
My experience was very positive and I do not have any way of complaining with or about, Alex or Dell & Schaefer. My private disability company was horrific, but in hiring them to represent me, this experience ended in a much more positive way than it started. When you are disabled and in my case suddenly so, you're made to feel less than as a person. Or as a hypochondriac. You find yourself constantly trying to defend why you aren't a drudge on society and why you're not just looking for a handout because you "can't deal" with life. In dealing with Alex and Dell & Schaefer, for the first time I felt as if I didn't have to justify the fact that yes, my body is sick, yes I worked damn hard for being able to pay into a long term disability insurance crappy as it may be, and yes it's ok to receive the payout without being made to feel like scum. I am truly grateful for the outcome of my case and for Alex and his team.
