He is a Past President of the American Association for Justice (Formerly ATLA). He is a member of the Florida Justice Association (Formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers) served as a Director for 16 years, and as its President. He is a Founder of and served on the Board of Directors of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. He is an international member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) in Great Britain, the Australian Lawyers Alliance (formerly, Australian Plaintiff Lawyers Association), and the Pan-European Organization of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL).
