Jason L. Odom is a valued member of our firm’s Litigation Department, where he displays a high level of excellence in his practice, focusing on employment law, probate and trust litigation and personal injury matters. He is board certified in Civil Trial, an evaluation by The Florida Bar that identifies you as a lawyer with special knowledge, skills and proficiency, as well as professionalism and ethics. He is also “AV” rated under Martindale- Hubbell’s peer review rating system, and has been recognized by Florida Trend: Florida Legal Elite as one of the Top “Up and Coming” attorneys in Florida. In 2017 he was listed among Florida’s “Super Lawyers,” a service which identifies the top 5% of attorneys in the state, as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Born and raised in Vero Beach, Mr. Odom received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 1997. Mr. Odom is a former member of our nation’s armed services, serving in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and achieving the rank of sergeant.
In 2000, Mr. Odom earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, Mr. Odom was a member of the award-winning Moot Court Board. He started his legal career with the Tampa law firm of Thompson, Sizemore & Gonzalez, PA. While at TSG, Mr. Odom practiced Employment Law Litigation and represented large public and private sector employers. During that time, Mr. Odom also served on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Division of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, where he participated in projects that benefited disadvantaged children.
Since returning to Vero Beach in 2006, Mr. Odom displays his commitment to supporting our community through his involvement with local charitable causes such as the Indian River Big Brothers Big Sisters, of which he sits on the Advisory Board.

Probate and Trust litigation: litigation involving a will or trust challenge based on undue influence or lack of capacity and defense against such claims; claims related to the disinheritance of a child, spouse, or other family member; claims against fiduciaries, such as a personal representative or trustee and defense of such claims; elective share and pretermitted spouse claims; and all types of actions related to will and trust litigation.
Represent companies and employees in all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; non-compete and trade secret agreements; and employment contracts.
Represent individuals injured in automobile accidents, slip and fall, and medical malpractice.
