Ramon O. Crego, Esq. was born and raised in Miami and is licensed in Florida at both the State and Federal levels. While attending law school in South Florida, Mr. Crego won several awards in trial advocacy competing against rival law schools, was elected by the students of his law school to serve as vice president of their trial team, interned with the Honorable David M. Gersten, former Chief Judge of the Third District Court of Appeal in Miami, and interned at the State Attorney’s Office in Miami-Dade County as a certified legal intern. While interning at the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Crego handled dozens of criminal cases and acquired experience in several jury trials before even graduating law school.
After graduating, Mr. Crego accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney with the State Attorney’s Office in Miami-Dade County. As a prosecutor for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, he served as an Assistant Chief of the D.U.I. and misdemeanor crimes division from 2012-2014. As a prosecutor Mr. Crego was the lead attorney on over forty jury trials. Mr. Crego has successfully tried cases ranging from misdemeanor marijuana to first degree attempted murder. |
