The issue is whether Respondent, Ashley Furniture Homestore (“Ashley Furniture”), subjected Petitioner, Mika Kowaluk (“Ms. Kowaluk” or “Petitioner”), to discrimination on the basis of her race, national origin, or gender or on the basis of a sexually hostile work environment, in violation of section 760.10, Florida Statutes.1Petitioner failed to prove that she was discriminated against based on her race, sex, or national origin, and also failed to prove that she was subjected to sexual harassment in the workplace.
