I was arrested and facing a DUI conviction. I had just moved to Florida a few months prior. I had never been in trouble with the law before and I didn’t know what to do. Mr. Hudson reached out to me after I inquired about my legal options. He listened very well and understood the stress that was going on in my mind. I suffered a medical event while driving that left me disoriented and resulted in a collision. I was arrested for DUI. When I blew zeros the deputy decided that I must be high on prescription medication and booked me for that. I reviewed information on a dozen attorneys and selected two to interview. The first had a nice office but little practical experience. He immediately talked about the opportunities for a plea deal, which I was not interested in. Tom Hudson's office was not as nice but he has tried hundreds of DUI cases and literally wrote the book on DUI defense. He was knowledgeable and capable but his greatest talent may have been in client management. I was outraged and wanted to light a fire under someone. Tom calmed me down and prepared me for the long game. The state kicked this case around for a year and a half, without making a decision. Tom advised hiring an expert witness who provided compelling expert observations, negating the claims made in the arrest report. Prosecutors offered various "deals", all of which were rejected. After a year and a half Tom spoke with a senior prosecutor and convinced him that the best course of action would be to dismiss the criminal charges. The prosecutor agreed to dismiss the criminal charges if I would plead guilty, or no contest, to a traffic infraction. Tom was, rightly, concerned with potential liability in a civil trial with punitive damages. I refused to do that but Tom salvaged the deal by convincing the prosecutor to send the infraction to traffic court, to be heard by a traffic judge, and dismissing the criminal charges. This was a very satisfactory outcome and I'm convinced that other attorneys would not have achieved the same result. Tom was the real deal and definitely gave me my money's worth. I highly recommend him.

I am very happy to have used Mr. Tom Hudson as my attorney. I've been misleaded from other attorneys in the past and was very scared at first.
