Oklahoma Health Care Laws

Welcome to the health care law section of FindLaw's Oklahoma law center, with articles and resources to help you better understand your rights and privileges under the law. While some federal laws impact health care, namely Medicare and the Affordable Care Act, the vast majority of health care-related law originates at the state level. Oklahoma law, for example, makes it a crime to assist another individual in an act of "mercy killing," while the state provides additional protections of patient records (above and beyond federal protections).
