Edison Laws

Edison consistently receives accolades for being one of the most livable cities in the country. And with low crime, excellent public education, and plenty of open green spaces this should come as no surprise. We changed our town’s name from Raritan to Edison in 1954 in honor of the Wizard of Menlo Park, and have since carried on his legacy of innovation and enterprise. Residents facing legal problems or a trip to court for any reason can find helpful resources in this section, including a courthouse directory, legal aid resources, and articles on a variety of legal topics.
