BACKGROUND This is a Proceeding to determine whether Miami- Dade County (“the County”) Comprehensive Plan Amendments adopted by Ordinance No. 96- 157 on October 10, 1996, are “in compliance” with the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, Ch. 163, Part II, Florida Statutes (the “Act”). The parties entered into a Stipulated Settlement Agreement which required the County to adopt certain remedial amendments. The County adopted the remedial amendments and the Department subsequently published its Notice of Intent to find the remedial amendments to be “in compliance,” as that term is defined in Subsection 163.3184(1)(b), Florida Statutes. The Administrative Law Judge issued his Order Closing File (copy attached hereto) 7 following the filing of a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal and a Response to Order to Show Cause. No Exceptions to the Administrative Law Judge’ s Order were filed.
