ORDER

SHARON L. OVINGTON, Chief Magistrate Judge.

On January 30, 2014, the parties were ordered to meet and confer in order to file a 26(f) Report by April 1, 2014. (Doc. #3, PageID# 17). On April 1, 2014, Defendants requested an extension of time to file the 26(f) Report until April 4th, indicating they had not yet heard back from Plaintiffs. (Doc . #7). The Court granted the extension. (See Notation Order dated 4/1/14). On April 4th, Defendants requested a second motion for extension of time — until April 11th — to file the required 26(f) Report. (Doc. #8). Defendants again noted they had not heard back from Plaintiffs, "despite multiple efforts" to confer with them. (Id.). The Court granted the second extension of time. (See Notation Order dated 4/4/14).

On April 11, 2014, Defendants filed a third motion for extension of time, requesting until April 17th to file the required 26(f) Report. (Doc. #10). Defendants noted that Plaintiffs have been unresponsive to their efforts, failing to indicate whether they approve, disapprove, or wish to make any changes to the proposed 26(f) report. (Id.). The Court granted the third motion for extension of time. (See Notation Order dated 4/11/14).

On April 18, 2014, Plaintiffs filed a motion for extension of time to file the 26(f) report. (Doc. #13). On April 21st, the Court granted Plaintiffs' motion and ordered Plaintiffs to "confer with Defendants in order to file required Rule 26(f) Report on or before 5/12/2014." See Notation Order dated 4/21/2014. Recently, Defendants filed a Status Report indicating Plaintiffs have yet to contact them regarding the 26(f) Report. (Doc. #14). They also indicate they sent Plaintiffs an e-mail regarding the proposed 26(f) Report and received the following e-mail response: "My answer is on the docket." (Doc. #14-1).

In light of Plaintiffs' refusal or inability to confer with Defendants as required, and having provided them more than ample time to do so, Defendants are hereby ORDERED to file a Rule 26(f) Report on or before May 16, 2014 without the need to first consult with Plaintiffs regarding the proposed dates.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
