academic probation

I have been put on academic probation and then dismissed because I was late by one week for my tuition (this is a career school in OR). Is this legal? Can you point me in a direction to get a document to challenge this probation in an appeals process I am involved in.

Thank you

Re: academic probation

It depends on the contract you signed. Does it allow the career school to dismiss you for a late payment (or perhaps for any reason whatever or no reason at all)?

If a significant amount of money is involved, you would benefit by consulting an attorney.
