Cancelling a wedding

In the State of Florida-if a groom cancels the wedding (three days beforehand) is he liable for any expenses of the bride's family?

Re: Cancelling a wedding

As long as the bride's family did what they could to save money by cancelling as many things as could be cancelled, I think a judge would find the groom liable for the bride's family's out-of-pocket expenses. That's assuming, of course, that the groom didn't have a good reason for cancelling. If the bride said, for instance, "By the way, I'm preganant with another man's baby..." You get the picture.
