child support

I currently pay 17% child support for one child. we both (myself and the mother of the child, not living together) live in Florida, but the case originated in New york. Should I have the case moved to Florida being that wages in Florida are much lower than in New York? I feel I should be paying less

Re: child support

If your ACTUAL wages are substantially lower now that you work in Florida and all parties involved live in Florida, you can petition a Florida court (where you live or where the child lives) to modify child support.
