Contesting probate
My father's will left his estate equally divided between 7 heirs. My oldest sister had POA and was executor. She had joint tenancy on his checking and savings accounts as she took care of all of his bills when he became incapacitated. She kept the remaining funds in those accounts when he died in 2007, as she had right of survivorship. Do I have a right to know what those accts. contained? Also, she kept his car and it was not listed in the assets. She said she ''earned'' it by taking care of him. Can I get the car put back into his estate and how would I do that? I have not signed the Final Agreement that I was sent.

You have a right to see any and all accounts. The car does not sound like it should be out of the estate. Depending on the size of the estate, you may want an attorney to look at documents before you sign. Remember that it is much harder and more expensive to fight actions of the executor's acts AFTER you have signed off on them.
