Contractor services break contract

my contractor stopped the work on my house even though it was already paid for and the deal (tasks, costs, time line) was defined in a contract. Currently the contractor hasn't returned any of my calls, emails and mailed letters. This is going on for the last month, dramatically exceeding the pressured deadline as it appeared in the contract. The house is in Massachusetts but I currently reside in NJ. What should be my next steps legally and how should I execute them?

Re: Contractor services break contract

Often the best results in situations like this are obtained when an established lawyer or law firm contacts the breaching party, explains his legal obligations and liabilities that would result from continued nonperformance, and demands performance on the consumer's behalf. Our firm has often enjoyed successful outcomes, without the need for expensive litigation, in these circumstances.
