contractor

We were having a contractor build a deck. we noticed a lot of problems. We stopped him working. He got 4,000 of a 10,000 and the job is nowhere even finished. He wants to sue us for the rest of the money. Also there a no dates on the contract. There are many thing wrong with this deck. We just want to cut our losses & don't want any money back. I am not sure if we can get the deck finished for the reamning 6,000. Can he win?

Re: contractor

In virtually no case can an attorney guarantee that you will "win". Just how strong your case is in this situation would need a more detailed review of the facts, contract, etc. I, or another attorney, would be glad to discuss this problem further.
