Declaring someone dead
Can I have my huisband declared dead? I haven't seen or heard from him in over 6 and a half years. He walked out on his daughter and I and never came back and they are giving me a hassel about getting a divorce since I can not find him to have him served.

Typically you can divorce him by advertisement if you cannot locate him and have made a good faith attempt to serve him personally. If you do not have a divorce attorney, I highly recommend that you consult with one.
