Fence Issue
In Oct 2005 my neighbor and I removed a chainlink fence and erected a masonry wall on the exsisting fence line. He is now saying that we have taken his property and a lawyer contacted us to sign a quit claim. The fence we removed had been there since our neighbor bought his home in 1984. All we did was follow the fence line! We were all in agreement and he even helped my husband build the wall!! What should we do?

Hire a surveyor to find out where the line really is. Then see an attorney.
