FMLA and Workers Comp.

I'm currently on WC. I sprained my MCL, strained my ACL and tore my medial meniscus. I just had surgery to repair the Meniscus. Am I required to also take FMLA.

Thank You.

Re: FMLA and Workers Comp.

Your employer can attribute your time out to your FMLA time. After that is exhausted, they have no obligation to maintain your employment and benefits. However, that can vary depending upon the employer and your union status. Please contact my office so that we can discuss this in more detail.
