I have a person living in my home for 14 months. We were in a relationship but have been broken up for 3 months. I have asked him to leave a number of times, but he is out of work and says he has no place to go ( which is probably true). He tells me that because he receives mail at my address, I cannot force him to leave. He has written checks from my account 3 times now and has overdrafted my account.

He did not have permission and he forged my name. He is not listed on my checking account, nor has he ever been. He has also taken my debit card without my knowledge and withdrawn money. Apparently, he found my pin number. I have changed my pin number and am closing the other account.

Can I prosecute him for forging my checks?

1. Call the cops. If they say you cannot prosecute because he lives with you, call the boss, until you get someone to arrest him.

2. File an eviction notice and evict him.
