international couple, broken engagement
my ex fiance and I were engaged for 3 years. he ended the engagement and said he would pay me back for the expenses incured. he's british and i'm american. now he's back in the uk and hasn't paid me anything. can i i bring a lawsuit against him since he's in another country?

You should have gotten it in writing. Without knowing the expenses incurred, you probably don't have any hope of collecting.
