Laid off at 61 years old...

I got laid off in April along with 3 others all over 54 years old. I was a supervisor making 62,000/yr. My job is still there with a much younger person making 1/2 of my pay. Can I find relief here under the law?

Re: Laid off at 61 years old...

You may have a very good case for age discrimination both under federal and state law.

I suggest you contact an employment attorney who handles this type of litigation. While I am an experienced employment attorney, I have colleagues who handle these types of matters as plaintiffs counsel on a regular basis.

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.
