Mother and Father both have joint physical and legal custody. Court order only says which days each parent gets the child, not any specific times or anything about school. Could the father just go and pick his child from school

The father could pick up the child on the day he has overnight visitation, and should then be sure to return the child the following morning. The parents should work out a more detailed schedule if otherwise it is going to be a problem.
