Need to relocate out of state. Can I?

I was awarded sole physical custody of my child in 2004. My husband who is not the biological father was offered a lucrative job out of state. We would like to relocate and except the job. Do I need the courts permission or just the permission from the bio.father? The bio.father only has visitation twice per month.

Re: Need to relocate out of state. Can I?

You need to petition the court for permission to relocate. If the Father doesn't object, you can enter an agreed order, making it a simple proceeding. it is not advisable to move without proper authorization. You should consult a local attorney.
