Obstruction of Justice
I received an obstruction of justice, resisting without violence charge. I'm trying to determine what the punishment is for a first time offense and if I should hire a lawyer, or not.

The judge will require you have a lawyer. It is a misdemeanor but it carries jail time and a conviction will be on your record forever. Call me if you would like to retain counsel.
