personal injury

my son fell in our back yard, and cut his leg open quite badly. the debris he fell on was left by our landlords, who never make an effort to clean anything. i would like to know our legal rights with this

You can certainly bring a lawsuit against your landlord. The outcome, however, will be determined by a number of things. What was the "debris"? How long was it there? Did you make complaints/give your landlord notice?
