photograph consent form
I had my son and daughter at a daycare 3 years ago, when I had a fallout with the director. It turns out to my chagrin that the people caring for my children were racists and one staff person openly told me they did not want my 3 year old daughter to hug or touch them. Shortly afterwards, an incident which had been written up as an accident when my daughter bumped her head in their care changed to, as they tell it, an attempt by my daughter to physically harm herself. It does not take rocket science to figure out that they were trying to get me to leave, which I gladly did. The problem is that while I had my kids there I was asked to sign a consent form to used my kids photographs, which I now regret doing, especially since many of these 'incidents' happened shortly thereafter. I signed the release form in good faith based on what seemed at the time to be a stable relationship. Do I have any recourse to get my children's photos removed from their website (it is 3 years later), now that I no longer have a relationship with the dacare? I was given no copies of the consent form.

If they are racists why do they want to use your kid's photos? They should have given you copies of the consent forms. You can ask them to remove the photos. Your recourse will depend upon what's in the consent forms.
