plice misconduct

While I was away the police broke into my house, without a warrant. They said they thought the house was vacant. My house is fully furnished, and I have lived here for four years. One of the cops I have spoken to before. They left all the doors open when they left. They found a small marijuana plant and said despite the fact that I am protected under prop 215, they do not enforce state law and they will arrest me if they see this again. I can prove that they have prior knowledge of my living there. I want to sue them for this criminal behavior. Can I? Also I can legally grow one plant can't I?

Re: plice misconduct

Yes, you can sue. And they have to give you your medical marijuana back.
