posession of marijuana

If pleaded not guilty to a felony marijuana case and was released on bond, then never appeared for court and a warrent was issued in 1996, will the statue of limitation in texas help me. Is there a limitation on this matter in texas.

Re: posession of marijuana

No, there is no statute of limitations which will protect you either in AZ or TX or any other state. You are a fugitive, and the SOL stops running until you either surrender to the court or are apprehended and returned to AZ. You could also be arrested and returned by your bondsman. It would be wise to contact an AZ criminal defense attorney and take care of the matter before any of the above occurs.
