unsecured credit card judgement
I have a judgement for 9,000.00 against me in dallas county texas.I have recieved a settlement check for 20,000 . if I deposit this check into my bank account in Henderson county Texas, can this judgement in dallas county be collected in henderson county texas or my bank account in henderson county be frozen till the judgement in dallas co is paid?

Mr. Palomino is correct. The funds can be garnished if the judgment creditor knows of the existence of your bank and bank account. There are certain legal and some illegal ways to acquire that information, so you would be prudent to safeguard the money in some other safe manner.
