boyfriend has a car but got a car in his name for me my credit was bad i put down payment on truck and pay half the truck note every month we broke up and he took the truck do i have any legal rights to the truck?

Based on what you have written, you should look at the title of the vehicle and see if the title contains just your boyfriend's name or both your and your boyfriend's name. Dependent upon who's name(s) are on the title should assist you with pursuing any potential actions.
