That's a very difficult question to answer. Various magazines in the legal industry will place a title on attorneys as being particularly skilled in an area, but such lawyers sometimes take active steps to pursue those titles. I have never seen any organization attempt to rank lawyers.
However, I practice exclusively in the areas of probate and estate planning and usually attend to matters before Judges in the Probate Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County about 2-3 days per week.
