Yes. Joining the Military is a very serious matter. Going AWOL is seriously frowned upon by the Court and Prosecutor if her National Guard Commander swears out a Warrant. She also does not want an Other Than Honorable Discharge as it will ruin her life. A Dishonorable Discharge or Bad Conduct Discharge is worse than a Felony.
