A friend assaulted me and cracked my skull. I have evidence and property that was destroyed. How can he pay for my medical bills?

If her voluntarily pays your bills, then her can pay the provider directly. If not, you may have only two choices. Get the judge in his criminal case to order that he pay restitution, it you sue him in civil Court. If he has any insurance that could be responsible, your lawsuit will trigger that insurer into taking some action in thus matter.
