Tuition is demanded
The whole world is topsy-turvy right now. You probably have a contract that says you owe the money, and I'm guessing that the contract says nothing about Covid-19. It might say something, however, about unavoidable closures, but such language is probably only intended for short term closures, like a snow day or two.
Bottom line -- I dunno. And I don't think anyone else really knows either. You can talk to an attorney to review your contract. For now, I would suggest that you withhold payments, until we see what's going on.
Grandparent custody
My daughter passed away last week, she was a single parent.
The birth father is know trying to get custody of the 3yr old girl. What is my first step in becoming her legal guardian.
What right's does he have, they were never married nor was he contributing to her care.
Can US Citizenship be taken away
My husband was granted his citizenship in May 1986. He was processed in Los Angeles by the Clerk and his petition for Naturalization was filed, stamped and completed. In October 1986 he was arrested and later convicted in 1987 for an Arms export violation. Can the immigration service cancel his citizenship? No hearing or court notification occurred regarding the forfeit of his US citizenship, yet when he was released the US deported him?
