Our child goes to a private daycare. Our contract states that we pay for snow days and sick days. These are the only exceptions where we still pay the school but don't use the service. Our daycare provider stated that due to coronavirus she will close the school and we will have to pay either in full or at least 50%. Our contract has no clause for extreme situations. Are they allowed to ask me to pay while they are not offering services?
You probably will need to pay since there is no clause for extreme circumstances, such as this virus.
Short answer is probably yes, since this would be considered a snow day and/or sick day.
my husbands child support ends in august and his ex is threatening to go to his job and try and have him fired the moment his support for her ends. she is very vindictive and has had our electricity turned off and just crazy things. they have been divorced for 8 years and i have only known him for 2 yrs and we are newly married. She makes our lives hell. what recourse does my husband have to make her stop this? he works for a very prestigious company and while he would not get fired, her actions would be embarrassing.
Sticker Price at Rite Aid
I was at Rite Aid recently and I saw a stick of deodorant which had two prices on it: one was $9 and the other was $4. I went to the register asking for the $4, so the cashier called up the manager, and she said she could not honor the $4 sticker because it also had the $9 sticker, but if it only had the $4 sticker she would have to honor it. Is this true? Thanks.
