Have a DUI on record. Recently got an OWI. Trying to obtain liscense to be able to drive to work?

Okay. It appears that you recently got an OVI not OWI. So you are eligible for driving privileges as follows:

1) IF this is your first in 10 years, then you can obtain driving privileges after 15 days if you took the breath test and tested over, if you refused the test, then it is 30 days; and,

2) you say you have a prior DUI. If that is the case and it was in the last 10 years, then this charge would be your 2nd in 10 years. In that case, you are not eligible for driving privileges until after 45 days if you took the test and failed. If you refused the test, and your prior DUI was also a refused test, then the time for getting privileges would be extended to a 90 day wait period.
