I have a question about my refund from the previous company who was managing the parking lot I still use. This company was responsible for the management of our building's parking lot and kicked out due to not fulfilling their responsibilities. Now a new company is in charge. I returned my old remote for the garage door and was told to get my $50 refund from the previous company. I reached them out about getting the refund and told them I returned the remote which was not useful anymore since the new company changed something with the door. This guy told me to return the remote to them which probably he aims to give me a hard time and not issue the refund. I also asked him to give me the address to return the remote but he stopped responding even if I sent multiple messages to him. I also tried to reach out to his manager but they insist on not responding. What should I do?
This sounds very frustrating for you. IMO you should file a small claims action against both of the companies, old and new, and let the Judge read them the riot act for this run around.
