How can I get venue moved out-of-state from IL on a divorce case which has been granted? I am trying to get visitation enforced and neither party resides in the district which had jurisdiction.
It depends on what the issue is. The court retained jurisdiction. If it is a support issue, you can seek to have the matter transferred to the state where dad is. If it s custody issue, then it should be transferred to the state where the child is.
