I plead guilty to NYS 260.10 in 2005. I was given drug and alcohol counceling and the Dr. sent a letter to the judge that he recommends that I not have to see him again. This was my only conviction before or since. Can I get my record expunged or sealed? If so, how?

Unfortunately New York State does not allow for the expungement of criminal convictions. You may, however, wish to ask the court for a certificate of relief from civil disabilities which will remove certain barries to employment opportunities.
