I recently got into trouble for drugs. I spent 5 days in the county jail before being released the courts dismissed my case without predjudice... A year and half later the district attorny refiled this case in the year and half i had moved out of county due to the fact the main guy in Task kept harrasing me My husband and kids and I moved out of county because of this well now I am being charged with 3 felonies should I acept the court appointed attorny or should i hire my own attorny?

Many court appointed attorneys are very experienced and competent attorneys. But, if you happen to get one who is not, it could be difficult to change attorneys. The case law says all defendants are entitled to an attorney - not an attorney of their choice. If you hire an attornery, you can always fire her/him if you are unhappy with the representation.
