Is there a law in VA concerning a child and parent having seperate rooms? My three year old step-son will go to visit his mother this summer for 2-3 months, currently she can not afford her own place and shares a two bedroom apartment with another couple and their newborn baby. Is my step-son required to have his own room? My husband is the legal custodian for the child. The child's state of residence is VA and his mother lives in N. Dakota.

The answer is, no, there is not. (The "Nanny State" has yet to

intrude its way into this familial issue, as far as I know).
