So the daughter from he's first marriage was there and arrange for the funeral. And I was shocked for what I read about my Husband Obituary. Listed thier mother as he's wife and longlife love to there father! even they knew that thier father married to me and I have all the evidence our Authenticated original marriage Certificate, and two divorce decree from my husband first and 2nd exwife. But I was listed as my husband friend only. I talked to the daughter and begging them to correct it but they refused. And the funeral home email me, My husband Death Certificate wife/widow! Is the first exwife who already divorce to my husband longtime ago and already married with other man, they knew everything but they lied. I am not sure what thier purpose is? And because I was 13 thousands miles away plus this virus problem I cannot be there. My husband has a Will before we get married and I'm not sure if my husband change the will after? Please somebody help me, what should I do? Thank you
I'm very sorry for the loss of your husband. You ask what to do. As a first step, you should consider contacting an attorney who works with wills and estates. Toward the end of your detailed post, one of the last items you mention is a will and your concerns about its disposition. As for any personal injury/civil rights issues you might be contemplating in connection with the wording of the obituary, those do not appear as central and fundamental to your situation. You could repost your question in the Probate and Estate Planning categories, you could reach out to attorneys who practice in those categories (Find-a-Lawyer tab above), or you could search for attorneys independently on your own. Good luck
