I did a google search of my name and noticed an small article regarding my dui conviction as well as other local news ftrom a court report. I'm scared this information can be easily searched by employers, school or anyone, really. I was never informed of this article being published. In addition a headline about counterfeiting pops up when my name is typed (a story about someone else of which I have no connection). I feel it's damaging my credibility. Legally Is there anything I can do to have it removed?? Thanks
Entities that do this argue that they are making use of a public record. Authorities can get involved if an entity requests money for removal of a record.

Charging for carpet cleaning/replacement
I lived in my apratment in CA for 2 1/2 years. There were two small holes in my carpet that definitely would have required the landlord to replace the carpet after I moved out, yet they charged me for carpet cleaning ($280 for a 1 bedroom). Don't they have to pro-rate based on their cost, the life of the carpet & the legth of time I used it?
Commercial Lease
I have a one year commercial lease and I have the option of sublet. I no longer use the office, but went out and found a suitable tenant for my space. The leasing agent then had a meeting with this tenant, at which time she showed the tenant another unit and he decided to go with that unit. Do I have a right to terminate this lease since I advertised for this suitable tenant and he was then upsold from underneath me? In other words, did I fulfill my obligations and therefore should be let out of the lease? I can't believe this agent has done this, and since all tenants must go through her, this causes me a hardship trying to rent out my space when she is trying to get them in empty spaces. Someone please help. Thank you.
Personal injury question?
and were about to settle, the other driver didnt have ins. so we're sueing or own ins. for uninsured motorist. We had 50K and 5K medpay. Our attorney got a final offer for me 7500 and wife 13500, our lawyer is taking out there 33.3 and she is saying they have to deduct medical bills. This is the problem and question: If the med was already paid to the DR's why is she taking out money again. Didnt our 5K medpay pay for that? Where is that money going if the DRs already got paid?
joint ownership
If two people are the owners of property and one of the parties can no longer afford to make ANY payments to sustain the property and is also in trouble with the IRS, can the other party who continues to make payments go to the hall of records and take the other person's name off of the property?
