I was honorably discharged in 1991 following a MEB and then rated at 30% by the VA. That has since been increased to 50%. I have recently been told I should have been placed on the TDRL or PDRL. Is there any recourse for me?

I wanted to seek a lawyer for a case for the basis of "defamation of character" regarding a civilian reporting a military member with all false accusations that led to the military member being discharged. is this enough basis for this, and will the military release records of investigation to a lawyer to assist in the case after the member becomes a veteran? also what would the rate be for the military member to hire such a lawyer?

I am trying to find a lawyer for my brother, who is having a hard time getting his military discharge upgraded. He was in Vietnam, so getting his discharge changed would be over the "normal" 15 year limit. He is having trouble finding a lawyer to take on his case. The biggest problem is.......... he is trying to find a military lawyer that will take on his case contingent upon them winning, and can't find anyone interested. He lives in Michigan, but can't find anyone there or anywhere for that matter, to help out.

Actual rules are not defined and certain patrons are being told that they cannot show cleavage or wear muscle tank tops. Only existing rule states "Appropriate gym attire required" so rules are not clear and certain patrons are told that they cannot wear some items of clothing. I fell discriminated against because at the pool shirts are not worn and cleavage is every where another example is basketball players wear tank tops and if a person is skinny he will be showing his chest but in the weight room you cannot show cleavage or chest and or rib areas.

Approx. 1 year ago I asked a question on this site and it was answered by Mr. William J. Holmes. it dealt with being seperated from the Navy reserves for positive urinalysis due to "Unknowing Ingestion" after 19 years of service. Since asking the question I've been through an ADSEP Board, which they found that I should be able to retire, however they seperated me with an Honorable discharge. When my package went forward to PERS, they said that I didn't have enough time in to retire and that they were going to proceed with my seperation. I submitted a package to the BCNR to overturn their decision and am currently awaiting results from my board request. My question now is, due you think that the board will allow me to retire with benefits? I've submitted all the required paperwork to include letters from the person who had the party where I ingested the tainted brownies along with other letters of character references. My total time in the military totaled 19 years 10 months. Upon being seperated I was trying to extend my enlistment by 2 months but was told by my reserve center that I had to wait the outcome of my seperation board and was not allowed to extend.
