Andrew T. Windle has committed his legal career exclusively to the practice of family law and appellate law. Having personally experienced the difficulties of his parents' divorce, Andrew set out to devote his life's work to helping families through this difficult time. Due to his firsthand experience with divorce, modification, remarriage, and relocation issues, he understands the emotional aspects of the process. He draws from his personal and professional experience to cultivate strategies and solutions that are suited to each individual client's needs and situation. Andrew has created Windle Family Law with the goal of properly handling these delicate issues, so his clients and their families can go on lead happier and more fulfilling lives.
Andrew graduated from the University of Baltimore, School of Law in 2006, with honors, and was in the top tenth percentile of his graduating class. While in law school, he began his legal career by representing indigent clients on a pro bono basis in family matters through the University of Baltimore’s Family Law Clinic. Additionally, he had the opportunity to work as a Judicial Clerk for a panel of EEOC Administrative Law Judges.Since completing his education, Andrew has tried many cases and represented clients in appellate matters. Despite his extensive litigation and appellate experience, he finds the most satisfaction in reaching amicable resolutions to issues that respect his client's desires and reflect the best interests of any children involved.
Andrew enjoys giving back to the legal community. He is actively involved with the Family Law Inn of Court (a legal society promoting professionalism), where he serves on the Board and as the Counselor. Andrew enjoys his involvement with various collaborative law groups such as CFL-CFL and IACP, as well as many bar associations. In addition, he regularly speaks to groups of attorneys, paralegals, and students, to educate them on legal matters.4767 New Broad Street Orlando, FL 32814 | |

I handle both contested and uncontested divorces, as well as collaborative divorces and separation agreements/litigation. Many of the cases I handle involve children, closely held businesses, real property, assets, and debts. I work hard to resolve cases outside of the courtroom, but I am always prepared to go to trial when necessary.
As a child of a divorce, custody cases are very close to my heart. I handle these cases with special attention to the needs of the children, and seek to find a resolution that will shield them from the negative effects of litigation. I handle matters ranging from divorces with children, to paternity matters, to modification actions, and even appeals.
Parties are able to save a great deal of time, money, and stress by reaching resolutions of their marital issues. However, these efforts can backfire if parties are not aware of their legal rights when entering into an agreement, when they do not have knowledge of the marital assets or the other party’s income, or when their efforts are employed improperly. I am available to help you avoid such issues and assist you with the uncontested divorce process.
I practice in all areas of family law. If you do not see a specific practice area listed it is likely because it is contained within one of the listed categories. For instance I handle alimony issues, child support issues, prenuptial agreements, appeals, modification of judgments, and other family law matters. Please feel free to contact me if you do not see your family law need specifically referred to within my practice areas.
Domestic violence is a very dangerous issue. Most people do not realize the true extent of the danger that they are in when dealing with an abusive partner. Nor do many people understand the relief that is available to them. Years ago I was specifically trained in how to address domestic violence issues through the University of Baltimore Family Law clinic, and since that time I have published an article regarding domestic violence. Please contact me to learn more.
