Mr. Traina holds bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Computer Science and earned his law degree at Nova Southeastern University. As a Registered Patent Attorney, Mr. Traina assists clients with the preparation and filing of patent applications in a wide array of fields, including computer software, medical devices, semiconductors, signal processing, and mechanical apparatuses. He also counsels clients with regard to patent portfolio strategies. In addition, he assists clients with matters relating to trademark and copyright protection, including preparation and filing of trademark and copyright applications, and litigation of intellectual property disputes.
Mr. Traina has also guest lectured on a variety of Intellectual Property topics to law students, paralegals, and undergraduate engineering students. He is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida, and he is an editor for the Barrister, a monthly publication of the Broward County Bar Association.
