I was born in Philadelphia and graduated high school from Trinity Preparatory School, in Winter Park. After graduating, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a double minor in Russian and Political Science from LSU in 1991. After graduating, I was named a Regents Scholar by the Louisiana Board of Regents for my academic and non-academic achievements while at LSU, including walking on LSU's football team in the spring of 1990. While at LSU, I was also a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
I then attended law school at the Unviversity of Oklahoma College of Law where I earned my Juris Doctor with Honors in 1994. While there I was a member of the American Indian Law Review and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Upon graduating in the top ten percent of my class, I was granted membership into The Order of Coif, an honor society acknowledging academic performance.
Upon my return to the Orlando area I began working with a small Plaintiff's law firm in Winter Park in 1994. While there I developed their civil litigation department and practiced personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and labor law.I opened my own firm in 1999. I currently handles all types of personal injury cases including car accidents, auto accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, workers' compensation cases, slip and fall accidents, wrongful death claims, dog bites, as well as wills and estate planning, probate, evictions, international readoption and entertainment and motorsport contracts as well as other business contracts.
I am a member of Florida Bar, New York Bar, Colorado Bar, and admitted to practice in the United States Middle District of Florida. I attained an AV® Preeminent™ Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. I am also certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Court Mediator. |
