Before representing accident victims and their families who needlessly suffer injury or death of a loved one due to the carelessness of others, Mr. Weinstein learned the tricks of the trade of those he now pursues, when as a young lawyer he defended corporations, insurers, landowners, doctors and hospitals in New York City at one of our nation’s largest law firms; Mr. Weinstein uses this invaluable knowledge of how things work “behind the scenes” in his aggressive representation of Florida accident victims of auto crashes, trip and falls, product defects, medical malpractice and nursing home neglect, from the moment a client walks in the door through the amicable resolution or trial of the case. A native South Floridian, Mr. Weinstein is the proud recipient of an “AV Rating” by Martindale-Hubbell, their highest rating for legal ability, based on the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the Judiciary through private interviews and surveys. According to Martindale-Hubbell, “An AV Rating shows that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence. He or she has unusually practiced law for many years, and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.” In each and every year of the last ten years alone, he has resolved multiple client cases and received jury verdicts in excess of one million of dollars each, including one recovery exceeding ten million dollars and many other settlements and verdicts in the three to over five million dollar range. He has tried cases to verdict in Florida, New York, and Iowa.
In 1987-1988, Mr. Weinstein was awarded inclusion in “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges,” and as a law student at the University of Miami, he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Profession, as well as being a member of the UM InterAmerican Law Review and Articles and Comments Editor of the UM Business Law Journal. He is a proud Member of the New York Bar (State and Federal), the Florida Bar, The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers / Florida Justice Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America / The American Association for Justice (Medical Malpractice Forum).
My goal and my mission are to achieve 'fairness for all' who have suffered from the negligence of others. I make no apology for my aggressive, ethical and relentless method of representing clients. If you or those close to you have suffered an injury or death that ought not have happened, I can help.
